About the Event:
The shire and local high school in conjunction with other schools will be organising a special program called 'Rebound' which specifically deals with youth issues. This welfare program involves the running of a multimedia program and activities which encourages youth to cope with life's uncertainties through the development of resilience.
In that same week (1/4/09) Grenfell youth will be involved in a 'Mad Fun' day which has activities which encourage cooperation and will raise money for ongoing support for areas which have suffered from flooding and bushfires.

About the Event:
School students will travel into Broken Hill. Firstly enjoying an activity session at the local library and a visit to the Railway Museum. A tour of Broken Hill, exploring the mining history. The day will end with lunch at the Sturt Park.
